SYDNEY: M.Mudassar Iqbal/Webdesk)_In a fitting farewell for David Warner’s last Test, Australia secured a clean sweep by defeating Pakistan by eight wickets in Sydney. Warner, in his final Test innings, contributed a crucial 57 runs to chase down Pakistan’s target of 130, sealing a 3-0 series victory for the hosts.
Australia dismissed Pakistan for 115, with Warner, playing his 112th and final Test match, receiving a guard of honor from the tourists as he came to the crease. Despite the early departure of opening partner Usman Khawaja, Warner played with determination, reaching his 37th Test half-century. His innings, featuring seven boundaries, concluded when spinner Sajid Khan trapped him in front with Australia just 11 runs from victory.
