PESHAWAR (Web Desk): Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces and Field Marshal, has said that the use of Afghan soil for terrorism against Pakistan is unacceptable and vowed decisive action against cross-border threats.

He stressed that elements described as Fitna-ul-Khawarij and Fitna-ul-Hindustan were using Afghan territory to carry out terrorist activities against Pakistan, which would not be tolerated. He reiterated that lasting peace would only be possible if the Afghan Taliban renounce terrorism and cease support for militant groups.
Upon his arrival in Wana, the army chief was received by the Corps Commander Peshawar.
