Anti-terrorism court issues arrest warrant issued for Maryam Aurangzeb

LAHORE: Anti-terrorism court (ATC) has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Marriyum Aurangzeb, senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

The case, which involves Marriyum Aurangzeb and others, was brought before Judge Abhar Gul Khan of the anti-terrorism court.

The decision to issue a non-bailable arrest warrant was based on Maryam Aurangzeb’s failure to appear in court.

However, the other co-accused individuals appeared in court and fulfilled their required appearances.

The court granted time to the lawyers representing the accused to confer and prepare their arguments.
