Rain expected in several areas of Pakistan

Lahore: (Web Desk) Meteorological department predicted rain and snowfall in several upper plains of Pakistan. According to the weather department, after a long dry season, winds from the West entered Baluchistan which will affect the upper plains of the country from December 27 to 29. Rainfall is predicted in Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Ziarat, Nokundi, Dalbandin, Sibbi, Naseerabad, and Lasbela, and snowfall in mountainous regions, from Tuesday night to Wednesday evening.
As per details Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Chitral, Dir, Swat, Malakand, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Mardan, and Peshawar including Islamabad, Murree, Galyat, and Potohar region are expected to receive light to moderate rains and snow falling. Met further updated that, Sakkhar, Larkana, Jacobabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Faisalabad, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, and Bhakkar might receive light rains as well.
Moreover the weather department informed that these rains might also lessen the intensity of fog, and the temperature might drop by 5 to 7 degrees Celsius.
