Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has approved that the heirs of the government employees who died during their service will be given permanent employment. After the amendment to Prime Minister’s assistance package, the Establishment Division on Friday issued a notification in this regard.
According to the source, under the new Office Memorandum, the provision of “Contract appointment” under PMAP-2015 is replaced with “Regular Appointment” with immediate effect, in accordance with civil servants (appointment, promotion, and transfer) Rules, 1973.
As per details the employees recruited under PMAP-2006 and PMAP-2015, who is still working under the existing contract, shall be regularized with immediate effect, as one time dispensation. A candidate who fails the test for a seat up to BS-15 will be permanently demoted to a lower grade.
