Gandapur only solution to steer KP out of current crisis: Marwat
“Faisal Karim Kundi’s language is somewhat harsh; he should make it more pleasant,” Marwat said.
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – MNA Sher Afzal Marwat on Tuesday said former KP CM Ali Amin Gandapur was the “only solution” to steer Khyber Pakhtunkhwa out of the current situation, claiming he currently enjoyed the support of more than 70 provincial lawmakers.
Speaking to the media at Parliament House, Marwat said KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi belonged to the province and understood its affairs better, but advised him to soften his tone.
“Faisal Karim Kundi’s language is somewhat harsh; he should make it more pleasant,” Marwat said.
Turning to dysfunctional CM Sohail Afridi, the lawmaker criticised his handling of the long march, saying he should not have returned from the point he had reached.
“Sohail Afridi could neither carry out the long march nor avoid losing the government as well,” Marwat said.
He added that the entire country had seen that Afridi had only “two or three flying coaches” carrying workers.
“If Sohail Afridi gets trapped at this age, then he should not be in politics,” Marwat remarked.
