While painting a harrowing picture of alleged torture on PTI leader Shahbaz Gill during his arrest, former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan Friday made some startling revelations claiming Gill was abused sexually as well.
Taking to Twitter Khan said Gill was tortured in a most gruesome manner and was humiliated to break him down.
Posing a cryptic question that who tortured Gill if it were not Islamabad police, Imran said there is a general perception in the public at large & in our minds too as to who could have carried out the gruesome torture.
He also claimed to have full detailed information regarding torture on Gill and warned that people will react to such brutality.
He also vowed to leave no stone unturned to find out those responsible and bring them to justice.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday evening reached PIMS Hospital in Islamabad to meet his aide Shahbaz Gill but the authorities did not allow him to inquire about his health.
According to the Imran Khan was reached at PIMS from Bani Gali and a legal team of the PTI was also accompanied by him to brief the legal aspects of the torture of Shahbaz Gill during remand.
When the authorities disallowed meeting Shahbaz Gill who is admitted to the PIMS Hospital, Imran Khan while talking to the media said he was not allowed to meet Shahbaz Gill so he will hold a rally to release him in Islamabad on Saturday.
Imran Khan said Shahbaz Gill was subjected to torture so people should take streets at all divisional headquarters of the country against the rulers’ brutality.
Earlier, PTI’s legal expert and former minister Dr Babar Awan addressed a press conference and alleged to the government that the medical report of Shahbaz Gill was changed overnight.
The PTI leader and former minister said his party will not accept the report of Islamabad police about the torture of Shahbaz Gill.
The PTI workers also chanted slogans outside the cardiac ward in the PIMS hospital. The cardiac patients admitted to the said ward faced difficulties.
On the other hand, the spokesperson of Islamabad Police said in a statement that the accused Shahbaz Shabbir has been shifted to the PIMS Hospital and adequate arrangements have been done for his security.
The police spokesperson said that the accused Shahbaz is not on physical remand and no one is allowed to visit the accused.
