ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Government of Pakistan has increased the price of kerosene oil by Rs1.71 per litre under the latest revision of petroleum product prices issued on Saturday.
According to a notification released by the Ministry of Finance, the new price of kerosene oil has been fixed at Rs313.44 per litre, compared to the previous rate of Rs311.73 per litre.
Despite the increase in kerosene prices, the government simultaneously announced a reduction in petrol and diesel rates for the second consecutive week. Petrol prices were cut by Rs6 per litre, while diesel prices were reduced by Rs6.80 per litre.
Following the revision, petrol will now be available at Rs403 per litre, whereas high-speed diesel has been set at Rs404 per litre. The revised prices came into effect nationwide from midnight.

The latest adjustment follows last week’s decrease in kerosene oil prices, when the commodity was reduced by Rs7.23 per litre before the recent upward revision.
Officials said the pricing changes are part of the government’s regular fuel price review mechanism, which takes into account international oil market trends and exchange rate fluctuations.
