Shehbaz Sharif China Visit Aims to Strengthen Strategic Partnership

Shehbaz Sharif China Visit Strengthens Ties

PM Shehbaz Sharif – (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif China visit kicked off on Saturday as he flew to Hangzhou, beginning a four-day official trip focused on growing stronger bonds between Pakistan and China. Senior cabinet members, including Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, traveled alongside him.

This visit carries special meaning. Both nations are celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations — a milestone that makes these talks even more significant for both sides.

In Hangzhou, the Prime Minister will sit down with the Party Secretary of Zhejiang Province. He will also chair a business-to-business investment conference covering three major sectors — IT and Telecom, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and Agriculture.

One of the most exciting moments of the Hangzhou leg is the planned visit to Alibaba’s headquarters. There, PM Shehbaz will take part in a signing ceremony for cooperation agreements between Pakistani and Chinese companies.

After Hangzhou, the Prime Minister moves on to Beijing. There he will hold face-to-face meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. Both sides will sit down to review progress on CPEC, trade, investment, technology, and people-to-people connections.

The overall goal is simple — build deeper trust, grow practical cooperation, and carry forward a friendship that has stood strong for decades.
