ISLAMABAD: (Mudassar Iqbal) – Islamabad residents will now be able to receive their driving licences at home on the same day through courier company TCS, while applicants in other cities will receive their licences within 48 hours.

According to an Islamabad Police spokesperson, citizens who complete all required licensing procedures can either collect their driving licences immediately or choose home delivery through TCS.

Chief Traffic Officer Kainat Azhar Khan said licences would be delivered to Islamabad residents within one day, while applicants from other cities would receive their documents within two days.

She said the initiative would save citizens from making repeated visits to traffic police offices to collect their driving licences.

The CTO added that the department would continue introducing public-friendly initiatives to improve service delivery and promote modern policing.
