KARACHI: (Web Desk) Gold prices increased in Pakistan’s domestic market on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs1,400 per tola to Rs423,436, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by Rs1,201 to Rs363,028. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold recorded an increase of Rs1,101, reaching Rs332,787.
In the international market, gold prices rose by $14 to $4,009 per ounce, the association reported.
Silver prices also registered gains in the local market. The price of silver increased by Rs20 per tola to Rs5,878, while the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat silver rose by Rs17 to Rs5,039.
International silver prices also moved upward, gaining $0.20 to reach $54 per ounce, according to the association.
