Four Terrorists Killed in Surab Operation and Mir Ali Action
Security forces continue counterterrorism action in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, while a bomber dies in a premature blast in Tank.
Balochistan – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – The Surab operation in Balochistan ended with one terrorist killed, security sources said on Wednesday. Forces also carried out action in North Waziristan and Tank as counterterrorism efforts continue across the country.
Security forces launched the operation near Mal Madarsa in Surab district. It was part of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 against Fitna al-Hindustan.
Officials said the team acted on a tip that terrorists were present between Mal Madarsa and Bategu.
During the search, the two sides exchanged fire. One terrorist was killed, while another managed to run away. Forces recovered weapons and a motorcycle from the dead man.
Sources said the forces remain committed to peace and order in Balochistan.
Three terrorists killed in Mir Ali
In North Waziristan, forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Mir Ali. Three terrorists were killed, according to security sources.
A large amount of weapons and ammunition was recovered. Forces also destroyed hideouts of Fitna al-Khawarij in Mir Ali and nearby areas.
In Tank, a terrorist linked to Fitna al-Khawarij was killed when his own explosive device went off early. He was reportedly on his way to a patwar office.
Sources said he wanted to attack the office over a dispute linked to extortion. The blast damaged two nearby houses, and their walls collapsed.
Operations continue in Balochistan
The latest actions come as operations have grown stronger in Balochistan. On Sunday, the ISPR said more than 70 terrorists were killed in several operations over four days.
On Tuesday, security sources said seven terrorists were killed in separate actions in KP and Balochistan. Five were killed in Bara and two in the Nokcha area.
Pakistan has seen more terrorism since 2021, mainly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. A CRSS report says the two provinces made up nearly 96 percent of violence-related deaths in the second quarter of 2026.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded over 61 percent of the deaths, while Balochistan recorded 34 percent.
