Indonesia Navy Chief Meets Field Marshal Asim Munir at GHQ
RAWALPINDI: (News Desk) – Chief of the Indonesian Navy Admiral Dr Muhammad Ali called on Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters on Monday, the military’s media wing said.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, regional security and bilateral defence cooperation.
The two sides expressed satisfaction with the existing military-to-military relations between Pakistan and Indonesia and reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding cooperation in professional training, defence collaboration and joint military exercises.
Field Marshal Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its longstanding and brotherly ties with Indonesia, particularly in the defence and security sectors.
Admiral Dr Muhammad Ali praised the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their contributions to promoting regional peace and stability.
