ISLAMABAD: (Sports Desk) – Pakistan secured a place in the Round of 16 at the U-17 World Volleyball Championship after producing a convincing straight-sets victory over Algeria.
The national side defeated Algeria 3-0, winning all three sets by an identical 25-17 scoreline.
Pakistan dominated the contest across several key areas. The team collected 37 points through attacks and added 11 points from blocks. They also registered four points from serves, while Algeria managed two.
Pakistan further benefited from 23 points resulting from their opponents’ mistakes, helping them maintain control throughout the match.
Fahad emerged as Pakistan’s leading scorer, contributing 20 points in the impressive victory. He produced 16 points through attacks and added another four from blocks.
The comprehensive win ensured Pakistan advanced to the Round of 16, marking another important step in their U-17 World Volleyball Championship campaign.
