Imran Khan Shifted Back To Jail After PIMS Hospital Checkup With Al-Shifa Doctors

Supreme Court-ordered medical exam concludes overnight, PTI founder returns to Adiala under tight security

Islamabad – Imran Khan’s hospital checkup wrapped up in the early hours of Friday, following clear directions from Pakistan’s Supreme Court. The former prime minister was moved from Adiala Jail to a private hospital in Islamabad late Thursday night.

The transfer took place under heavy security. Officials say proper arrangements were made to ensure his safety throughout the journey and the examination itself.

A team of doctors handled the checkup. This included an eye specialist, a heart specialist, and a general physician. Together, they looked closely at his overall health.

After going through the full check, the doctors gave their verdict. They declared him medically fit, easing concerns that had been raised in recent weeks.

His sister was by his side the entire time. She stayed present through every stage of the checkup, from the first exam to the final review.

Once everything was done, he didn’t stay at the hospital. Around 5 a.m. Friday, he was taken back to Adiala Jail, where he remains held.

This whole process came after the Supreme Court stepped in earlier in the week. The court had ordered his transfer, pointing to worries about his declining health behind bars.

The case has drawn wide attention across the country. Many are watching closely to see what happens next in the legal fight surrounding his imprisonment.

For now, the checkup is over, and he’s back in his cell. But questions about his health and his case are far from settled.
