Ukraine Launches Over 1,000 Drones at Russia

Ukraine Intensifies Drone Attacks on Moscow and Russian Cities

MOSCOW: (News Desk) – Ukraine has launched more than 1,000 drones toward Russia over the past three days, according to reports, as Kyiv continues to intensify long-range drone attacks amid the ongoing war.

The latest wave reportedly targeted Moscow, where Russian authorities said hundreds of Ukrainian drones were intercepted or engaged. According to the reported figures, around 620 drones were launched toward the Russian capital, with three people, including a 10-year-old girl, reported injured.

Russian authorities also said warehouses and other facilities belonging to a Russian e-commerce company were among the sites affected in the attacks.

Two days earlier, Ukraine reportedly launched more than 800 drones toward several Russian cities. Russian officials said the attacks killed seven people and injured several others.

The reported launch of more than 800 drones in a single day has been described by Russian authorities as one of the largest Ukrainian drone attacks since the beginning of the war.

Meanwhile, Russia has warned Britain against supplying additional drones and other military equipment to Ukraine, accusing London of contributing to an escalation of the conflict.

The Russian Embassy in London claimed that British-made drones had been used against Russian military and industrial facilities. It warned that increased British involvement in the conflict could lead to serious consequences.

Britain has rejected Russia’s accusations and defended its continued military assistance to Ukraine. The UK Ministry of Defence said it would continue supplying Kyiv with weapons required for its defence and reaffirmed its support for Ukraine against Russian aggression.

The latest exchanges highlight the continued escalation in long-range drone warfare, with both sides increasingly targeting military, industrial and infrastructure sites far from the front lines.
