Malia Sasha Appearance: Obama Daughters Spotted at Presidential Center Opening

Chicago – (Web Desk) – Malia and Sasha Obama stepped into the spotlight on Thursday in a rare Malia Sasha appearance at the grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago. The two sisters joined their parents, former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama, on stage for the historic event.

The sisters have mostly stayed away from public life since their father left the White House in 2017. So their appearance at this ceremony made the moment even more special for fans and attendees.

Malia, 27, wore a grey blazer with a matching skirt and kept her auburn hair down. Sasha, 25, looked elegant in an off-the-shoulder white top and skirt, paired with a large brown belt and her hair styled in a half-up look.

The opening ceremony was held on Chicago’s South Side to mark Juneteenth. It featured live performances by Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Christina Aguilera, and Eddie Vedder. Notable guests included Bill and Hillary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Gayle King, and Tom Hanks.

The Obama Presidential Center is a major addition to the South Side community. It includes a museum, concert and event venues, open park space, and a new branch of the Chicago Public Library.
