Pakistan, Canada Reaffirm Cooperation Amid US-Iran Diplomatic Progress

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) -Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand on Thursday, during which both sides discussed regional developments and bilateral relations.

According to details, the Canadian foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating diplomatic engagement and mediation efforts between the United States and Iran, which contributed to the recent understanding reached between the two sides.

The two leaders also discussed the upcoming engagement scheduled to take place in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, on Friday, as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts linked to the agreement process.

Both foreign ministers reviewed the current state of Pakistan–Canada relations and expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in bilateral ties.

The conversation underscored the growing collaboration between Islamabad and Ottawa and highlighted the importance of continued dialogue in strengthening international partnerships and supporting diplomatic solutions to global challenges.
