PTBF Unveils National, International Bowling Calendar 2026-27
National, International Tenpin Bowling Events Announced
PTBF President Ijaz-ur-Rehman said the calendar includes prestigious international events as well as several national championships aimed at promoting the sport and providing competitive opportunities for athletes.
Among the key international competitions, the 25th Asian Junior Tenpin Bowling Championship will be held from August 21 to 30, 2026, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Pakistani bowlers are also expected to participate in the IBA World Cup, scheduled to take place in Germany from October 12.
On the domestic front, the Azadi Cup Tenpin Bowling Championship will be staged in Islamabad from August 8 to 14, 2026. The Pakistan Open Tenpin Bowling Championship is scheduled for November 25 to 30 in Karachi, while the 19th National Tenpin Bowling Championship will be held in Islamabad from February 9 to 14, 2027.

The federation has also included several special tournaments in its annual calendar to encourage participation at different levels and celebrate important national occasions.
These events include the Defence Day Tenpin Bowling Championship on September 6, the Quaid-e-Azam Tenpin Bowling Cup on December 25, and the Inter-School Tenpin Bowling Championship on January 10, 2027.
Additional competitions include the Kashmir Solidarity Day Tenpin Bowling Championship on February 5, 2027, the Ramadan-ul-Mubarak Tenpin Bowling Championship on February 28, the Women’s Day Tenpin Bowling Championship on March 8, and the Inter-University Tenpin Bowling Championship on March 30, 2027.
The PTBF said the calendar reflects its commitment to the development of tenpin bowling in Pakistan and aims to provide players with regular competitive opportunities at both national and international levels.
