Cement Prices Stay Firm Across Pakistan in June
Fuel Costs Fail to Trigger Major Cement Price Hike
Islamabad: (Web Desk) Pakistan’s cement market has maintained a steady pricing trend in early June 2026, offering relief to builders and homeowners despite ongoing pressure from elevated fuel and transportation costs.
A standard 50kg bag of ordinary Portland cement (OPC) is currently selling between Rs. 1,505 and Rs. 1,610 across the country, with average rates hovering around Rs. 1,540 to Rs. 1,580 per bag. Southern markets, including Karachi and other parts of Sindh, continue to offer comparatively lower prices due to their proximity to production facilities and efficient supply chains.

Meanwhile, Lahore, Islamabad, and other northern regions are witnessing slightly higher rates as a result of stronger construction demand and increased freight expenses.
Although regional tensions and disruptions affecting global energy markets have kept fuel prices elevated, Pakistan’s robust cement production capacity and balanced supply have prevented any major surge in retail cement rates. The stable market environment is providing greater cost predictability for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects nationwide.
