Pakistan Begins Hajj Pilgrims’ Return Operation Tomorrow
Over 119,000 Pilgrims to Return Under Hajj Flight Operation
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistan has finalized arrangements for the return of more than 119,000 pilgrims travelling under the government Hajj scheme, with the post-Hajj flight operation set to begin on May 31.
According to officials, the first return flight will depart from Jeddah on the night of May 31 carrying 391 pilgrims and is scheduled to arrive in Sialkot on the morning of June 1, formally launching the nationwide repatriation operation.
On the opening day, 5,237 pilgrims are expected to return to Pakistan through 22 flights. The following day, June 2, another 23 flights will bring pilgrims back from Saudi Arabia.
Under the flight schedule, Islamabad will receive five flights on the first day of operations, while Karachi and Lahore will each welcome four flights. Three flights each will land in Multan and Sialkot, two in Faisalabad, and one in Quetta.
Officials said a total of 471 flights will be operated throughout the repatriation phase, transporting pilgrims from both Jeddah and Madinah to various cities across Pakistan.

The month-long operation will be carried out with the support of national carriers, private airlines, and Saudi aviation authorities to ensure the smooth return of pilgrims.
According to the plan, the final Hajj flight is expected to arrive in Lahore on June 30, bringing the government’s Hajj repatriation operation to a close.
Authorities have stated that comprehensive arrangements have been put in place at airports and related facilities to facilitate pilgrims and ensure a comfortable and organized journey home.
