Madinah Launches Shuttle Service For Eid Crowds

Madinah: (Web Desk0 Madinah’s bus administration has announced the launch of a special shuttle service for the Day of Arafah and Eid al-Adha prayers to help manage the movement of worshippers and visitors to key religious sites.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the shuttle system will operate for visitors traveling to Al Masjid an-Nabawi and Quba Mosque during the holy occasions. Authorities said the service is designed to improve access and ensure smoother transportation during peak prayer times.

On the Day of Arafah, shuttle operations will begin at 12:00 noon and continue until one hour after the Isha prayer. Services will run through designated stations and planned routes to manage large crowds efficiently.

Key routes include transport from Sayyid Al-Shuhada Station, Al Salam College Station, and the Shaza District to Al Masjid an-Nabawi. Additional services will operate from Garden Station to the Prophet’s Mosque and from Al Aliyah Station to Quba Mosque.

On the first day of Eid al-Adha, major shuttle routes serving both Al Masjid an-Nabawi and Quba Mosque will remain operational until 8:00 a.m., helping accommodate the expected surge of worshippers attending early morning prayers.
