Momina Iqbal Levels Serious Harassment Allegations Against Punjab MPA
Actress Momina Claims Political Pressure During Cybercrime Investigation Case
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Momina Iqbal has sparked major controversy after accusing a sitting Punjab Assembly lawmaker of online harassment, cyberbullying, and issuing death threats, creating intense political and public debate across Pakistan.
The actress claimed she has endured months of abusive messages, mental stress, and organized online attacks. According to Momina, repeated complaints submitted to police, the Federal Investigation Agency, and the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency failed to provide effective protection or meaningful action.
Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chaddar has been named in reports related to the allegations. Momina also reportedly included his wife in the complaint filed with cybercrime authorities. Investigators have allegedly summoned both individuals as part of the ongoing inquiry.
The matter intensified after Momina alleged that individuals associated with the office of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif attempted to discourage her from pursuing the case, adding a sensitive political dimension to the controversy.
In emotional statements shared online, the actress said the situation has developed into a serious security concern for her and her family. She described the experience as severe mental trauma caused by continuous online abuse and intimidation.
Momina has publicly demanded immediate intervention and a transparent investigation, warning that she may hold a press conference and present evidence if justice is not served.
The allegations have triggered heated reactions on social media, with users demanding clarity and swift action from authorities as the case continues to blur the line between entertainment industry controversy and political conflict.
So far, Saqib Chaddar has not publicly responded to the accusations, while federal investigators continue examining the claims made by the actress.
