Pakistan links deadly Bannu attack to Afghan-based militants
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Islamabad has stated that the recent assault on a police post in Bannu, which resulted in the martyrdom of 15 security personnel and injuries to four others, was orchestrated by militant elements based in Afghanistan.
According to the Foreign Office, investigative findings, technical intelligence, and gathered evidence clearly indicate that the attack was planned from across the border. In response, Pakistan summoned the Afghan Charge d’Affaires and conveyed a strong diplomatic protest.
