PM Youth Programme hosts national unity seminar at Lahore university

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme organized a special seminar titled “Marka-e-Haq: Youth for National Unity & Responsibility” at the University of Home Economics Lahore with the aim of promoting patriotism, national cohesion, and constructive youth participation in Pakistan’s development.
Special Representative to the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Rizwan Anwar, attended the event as the Guest of Honour and delivered the keynote address. During his speech, he praised the leadership and strategic vision of Syed Asim Munir, saying the nation had shown unity, confidence, and resilience under the guidance of Pakistan’s armed forces.

Rizwan Anwar also commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for prioritizing youth empowerment, education, technological advancement, and economic growth. He further acknowledged the efforts of Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan in transforming the youth programme into an active platform for leadership development and national integration.
Addressing students and participants, he emphasized that modern warfare is no longer limited to conventional battlefields, but now includes cyber security, artificial intelligence, digital media, and information warfare. He encouraged young Pakistanis to adopt innovation, entrepreneurship, and advanced digital skills to strengthen the country’s economy and future competitiveness.
He also appreciated the role played by Pakistani youth in combating fake news, encouraging responsible online engagement, and promoting a positive national narrative during difficult times.
The seminar featured notable speakers including Sajid Habib, Ghazanfar Ali Syed, and Salman Ghani, along with participation from academics, students, and civil society members.
The event concluded with interactive discussions, a collective pledge for national unity, and a group photograph.
