Iran shoots down US warplane as search for F-15 pilot continues.

US pilot missing as Iran downs F-15 warplane and war spreads across the Middle East

F-15 Warplane – (Web Desk) – Iranian and American forces are racing to find a missing US pilot. It is the first American fighter jet shot down inside Iran since the war began. Iran says it destroyed the F-15 warplane. US media says special forces rescued one crew member. The second crew member is still missing.

Iran also shot down a US A-10 attack aircraft over the Gulf. That pilot was rescued safely.

This war started over a month ago. The US and Israel struck Iran and killed its supreme leader Ali Khamenei. That triggered a massive retaliation. The conflict has now spread across the Middle East. It is hurting the global economy and affecting millions of people.

US President Donald Trump said the loss of the F-15 will not stop peace talks with Iran. He simply said, “It’s war.”

Iran is offering a reward to anyone who captures a US pilot alive. Large explosions have been heard in northern Tehran. Israel launched fresh strikes on Iran’s capital. Beirut in Lebanon was also hit. Strikes are now targeting oil and energy sites, raising fears of a global energy crisis.

Iran’s former foreign minister is urging a peace deal. He wants Iran to limit its nuclear programme and reopen the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for lifting sanctions. Iran has nearly blocked this vital waterway. One-fifth of the world’s oil and gas normally passes through it.

In Lebanon, over 1,345 people have been killed since fighting began. Three UN peacekeepers were also wounded in a blast. Trump has asked the US Congress to approve a massive 1.5 trillion dollar defence budget. That would be the biggest military spending increase since World War Two.

Russia and Turkey are calling for an immediate ceasefire. They warned that this war is causing serious damage to global energy, trade and transport.
