ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Prime Minister’s Youth Programme has signed a landmark tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Vocational and Technical Training Commission, Higher Education Commission, and AI SkillBridge to roll out ACT AI, the country’s largest synchronized artificial intelligence training programme.
The initiative aims to train 6,000 students across 100 universities spanning all four provinces of Pakistan under a unified national framework.

ACT AI will offer a structured 8-week programme focused on practical AI skills. The training will be delivered through HEC’s Smart Classroom network, with live broadcasts from Islamabad reaching classrooms nationwide. Notably, the programme will be provided completely free of cost to participants.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the office of Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, and was attended by senior representatives from all partner organizations.
Officials described the initiative as a major step toward equipping Pakistan’s youth with cutting-edge digital skills, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the country’s journey toward embracing artificial intelligence.
