Shaukat Iqbal Dar Appointed AJK Media Coordinator for Europe
The appointment was formally endorsed by PM Faisal Mumtaz Rathore
Muzaffarabad (Web Desk): The Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir has approved the appointment of Shaukat Iqbal Dar as Media Coordinator for Europe on an honorary basis.
The official notification, issued by the Prime Minister’s Secretariat AJK on February 27, 2026 under Notification No. PMS/265/2026, states that Mr. Dar, son of Abdul Jabbar Dar and a resident of Hounslow, Middlesex, will facilitate media coordination across European countries.

The appointment was formally endorsed by Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and signed by the Deputy Secretary (Administration).
The move is part of the AJK government’s broader effort to strengthen outreach and media engagement with the Kashmiri diaspora and international stakeholders in Europe.
