Trailer launch of Fahad Mustafa’s debut production ALBM wows Karachi
KARACHI (Web Desk) – Fahad Mustafa shared candid insights on his first production venture during the trailer launch of Aag Lagay Basti Mein (ALBM) on Monday at District 19, Karachi. The event was hosted by renowned entertainment journalist and critic Hassan Choudary, known for his work with Something Haute.
Scheduled for release on Eid-ul-Fitr 2026, the action-drama features a star-studded cast including Mahira Khan, Tabish Hashmi, and veteran Javed Sheikh.
Speaking to Sunday Times journalist Ameer Taimoor on the red carpet, Fahad joked about his transition from actor to filmmaker:
“It is my first production, yes, as a filmmaker, but I’ve done a lot of films. This time, somehow, I ended up producing it,” he said.
He added humorously, “I hope this venture grows and we earn well, and audiences enjoy the film, otherwise it could be a disaster.”
The launch was attended by several industry figures, including CEO ARY Digital Network Mohammad Jerjees Seja, Humayun Saeed, Shazia Wajahat, Dr Ali Kazmi, Sonya Salman, and others. The trailer, released shortly after the launch, has already gone viral on social media, with fans praising the chemistry and sharp dialogues between Fahad and Mahira.
Making his film debut, Tabish Hashmi shared his excitement: “It was a lot of fun, and narrating it with Bilal’s guidance made the experience memorable.”
