Pak-Libya Military Ties Strengthened in Meeting Between Chiefs of Staff
Islamabad: (Web Desk) – Libya’s Commander-in-Chief of the Arab Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Abu Al-Qasim Haftar, and Libyan Prime Minister Dr. Osama Saad Hamad met with Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
During the meeting, the leaders discussed matters of mutual interest, with a focus on security conditions in their respective regions and enhancing professional military cooperation. Both sides emphasized the importance of continuous engagement and collaboration between the Pakistan Army and Libyan armed forces.
Field Marshal Asim Munir welcomed the guests and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Libya. He also highlighted Pakistan’s support for peace, stability, and institutional development in Libya.

As part of the visit, the Libyan delegation laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial located at the GHQ in Islamabad, honoring Pakistan’s fallen soldiers.
