Pakistan launches powerful exporter relief package, cutting energy costs, boosting industry, jobs, investment, and accelerating economic self-reliance nationwide future growth
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif – (Web Desk) – Today is an important day for Pakistan’s economy and business community. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a major package for exporters and industries, which aims to strengthen the economy and increase employment opportunities.
The main objective of this package is to move Pakistan’s economy forward through industry and exports so that the country can stand on its own feet.
Today’s decisions are the result of the extraordinary teamwork that has been established between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
This harmony and trust first brought Pakistan out of the danger of default, and now on this strong foundation, the economy is being led towards exports, industry and sustainable development.
The price of electricity for industries has been reduced by Rs. 4.4 per unit, which will reduce the cost of factories and increase production.
Cheaper electricity will make industries work more, orders will increase and more employment opportunities will be created for workers.

The government has fixed the wheeling charges for industries at Rs 9, so that it is easier to use electricity and reduce the additional burden.
Bank financing has been made cheaper for exporters, the interest rate has been reduced from 7.5 percent to about 4.5 percent.
This decision will help exporters expand their business, make new investments and compete better in the global market. 🇵🇰
The Prime Minister gave awards to well-performing exporters and industrialists and announced the issuance of blue passports for two years, which will facilitate their travel and business activities abroad.
These decisions have come at a time when Pakistan has emerged from the threat of default and is now entering the development phase.
