CASS Hosts Nepal Army Delegation on Aerospace Security
Pakistan, Nepal Discuss Aerospace Security and Regional Cooperation at CASS
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS) in Islamabad hosted a delegation from the Nepal Army Command and Staff College on 20 January 2026 to discuss aerospace security and regional dynamics. The visit highlighted the growing importance of the aerial domain in contemporary and future conflicts and explored avenues for deeper cooperation between Pakistan and Nepal.
Air Marshal (Retd.) Javaid Ahmed, President of CASS, welcomed the delegation and emphasized the strong bilateral ties between the two countries, noting long-standing cooperation between their armed forces through exchanges, professional collaboration, and institutional linkages. He also highlighted Pakistan and Nepal’s constructive engagement within the SAARC framework to advance regional objectives.

During the visit, CASS researchers presented findings on future aerospace developments and regional security dynamics. Delegates engaged in detailed discussions on contemporary warfare, emerging technologies, aerospace security, and potential frameworks for future collaboration between the Staff College and CASS.
