PTI Leader Sohail Afridi Draws Massive Crowds During Karachi Visit

Karachi – (Special Corrrespondent / Web Desk) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi arrived in Karachi on Friday for a three-day visit aimed at mobilizing support for PTI’s ongoing protests calling for the release of party founder Imran Khan, who is currently behind bars.

From the moment his convoy landed at Jinnah International Airport, Afridi was met with enthusiastic supporters waving flags and cheering him on, causing traffic slowdowns as crowds followed him all the way to Insaf House.

The massive turnout highlighted the party’s continuing appeal across the city, even in areas traditionally considered strongholds of the PPP.

Local leaders praised the display as a sign of growing public support for Khan and his political agenda.

Upon arrival, Afridi was warmly welcomed by Sindh’s Local Government Minister, who presented him with the traditional ajrak shawl and topi, symbolizing respect and hospitality.

Afridi is scheduled to address a major rally at Jinnah Ground on Sunday, where more supporters are expected to join in significant numbers.

While the visit has energized PTI’s base, it has also drawn criticism from political rivals, including PML-N’s Rana Sanaullah, who questioned the timing and scale of the demonstrations.
