RAWALPINDI: The wedding ceremony of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir’s daughter has attracted significant media attention, both nationally and internationally. Reports of high-profile attendees, including claims about UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s presence, sparked widespread discussion, although some sources have disputed the accuracy of these claims.
Investigative journalist Zahid Gishkori recently reported that the ceremony, held in Rawalpindi, was attended by several senior officials, including former Chief of Army Staff General (Retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Gishkori also shared details about the bride’s son-in-law, noting that he previously served as a captain in the Pakistan Army before joining the civil service, where he currently serves as an Assistant Commissioner.
