16 Injured as Truck and Oil Tanker Catch Fire in Zhob

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.

Zhob: At least 16 people were injured on Thursday after a coal-laden truck and an oil tanker caught fire at New Adda on the Quetta National Highway in Zhob, according to a private news channel.

Trauma Center Coordinator Shah Zaman said that six of the injured were in critical condition and were referred to Quetta for further treatment. The injured included individuals traveling in the oil tanker, the driver, fire brigade personnel, and police officials.

Rescue 1122 ambulances shifted all the injured to the local Trauma Center. After receiving medical treatment, six seriously injured victims were transferred to Quetta, while the remaining patients were discharged.
