Hafizabad (Bureau Report) – An important meeting of the Dispute Resolution Committee was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hafizabad Abdul Razzaq to address illegal land encroachments and ongoing disputes over citizens’ properties across the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Tanveer Yaseen, representatives from the police, revenue department officials, and other relevant authorities. The primary aim was to review dozens of applications from citizens, resolve disputes related to encroachments, boundary issues, inheritance conflicts, and property transfers promptly and on merit.
Addressing the participants, DC Abdul Razzaq emphasized that the district administration is committed to protecting citizens’ property and directed that actions against illegal occupiers be intensified under a zero-tolerance policy. He stressed that no illegal interference or encroachment on anyone’s land or property would be tolerated. He also instructed all concerned departments to maintain complete transparency in case records and ensure timely redressal of applicants’ grievances.
During the meeting, police and revenue officials presented their reports to the DC, and joint operations were agreed upon to resolve multiple cases immediately. DC Abdul Razzaq stated that timely resolution of citizens’ issues is a top priority of the Punjab government and that the Dispute Resolution Committee plays an effective role in providing relief to the public.

It was decided that all ongoing cases would be continuously monitored, and applicants would be kept informed about progress at every stage.
