DUBAI – An Indian fighter jet crashed during a live demonstration at the Dubai Air Show, causing the suspension of the much-anticipated aerial display segment.
According to US media reports, the Indian aircraft went down during its performance at the event. Indian media confirmed that the jet was an Indian Air Force Tejas, which crashed at around 2:10 p.m. local time.
Efforts are underway to gather details about the condition of the pilots. Authorities are investigating whether the crash resulted from a technical malfunction or pilot error.
