Five Terrorists Killed, 7 Police Personnel Martyred in Attack on D.I. Khan Police Training School

The Hospital Director reported that 13 injured officers were brought to the DHQ Trauma Centre for medical treatment.

Dera Ismail Khan – A deadly terrorist attack on the Police Training School in Dera Ismail Khan resulted in the martyrdom of seven police personnel, while five terrorists, including a suicide bomber, were killed during a counter-operation.

According to DSP Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, the operation to neutralize the attackers was completed late at night with joint efforts by police and security forces. He confirmed that seven officers were martyred, and all five terrorists involved in the assault were eliminated.

The attack, which occurred around 8:30 PM last night, involved a suicide bombing and a coordinated assault on the training facility.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Public Relations Khyber Pakhtunkhwa stated that around 200 police personnel and recruits were safely rescued during the attack. The operation also included clearing the Police Training School and the nearby NADRA office, which had been targeted during the incident.

The attack marks a significant act of terrorism in the region, prompting heightened security measures and further investigation into the group behind the assault.
