This new arrangement, approved by both governments, allows holders of diplomatic and official passports to travel between the two nations without a visa.

Beyond diplomacy, both nations committed to boosting economic partnership. They agreed to enhance bilateral trade and industrial cooperation. Minister Khan expressed Pakistan’s strong interest in participating in Bangladesh’s growing industrial sector through joint ventures and mutual investments. He specifically encouraged Bangladeshi businesses to import key Pakistani goods like cement, sugar, footwear, and leather products.
