From the Nakba to Gaza: Pakistan Stand against Unchecked Aggression

The dusk of May 14, 1948, marked a dark end of day in the history of the Holy Land of Palestine. The unprecedented settlement of Jews in Arab lands led to the forced displacement of Palestinians, who were subsequently prohibited from praying in AlAqsa Mosque. Since the establishment of Zionism by the Great Powers of the New World Order, the fields of Palestine, metaphorically, have been irrigated with the blood of Muslim brethren rather than water from the Jordan River.

The current genocide in Gaza has escalated this historical injustice to a horrifying and unbearable level of mass atrocities. The sheer scale of destruction and loss of life is unfathomable, leaving no safe space for the living, let alone for the dignified burial of the deceased. Hospitals are targeted, schools are destroyed, and entire neighborhoods are razed, creating a pathetic landscape.

The international community’s silence and inaction in the face of such blatant disregard for human life
and international law raise a critical question: Is this truly the template the world wishes to set for future conflicts and humanitarian crises? The precedent being established is one where accountability is absent, and the most vulnerable pay the ultimate price.

In a recent article in Modern Diplomacy, Dr. Julian Spencer Churchill on June 24, 2025, emphasized, “Once Israel defeats Iran, Pakistan is next.” The international community has undeniably failed to hold Netanyahu accountable for his war crimes against humanity. Pakistan is a sovereign nation, stretching from the snowcapped mountains of the Himalayas to the Arabian Sea. As a nuclear power, Pakistan demands to be treated with respect. Our achievements in the fight against terrorism surpass those of any other country in the world.

We face an adversary on our Eastern Border and contend with tensions from proxies on our Western Border. We have endured the martyrdom of 200,000 soldiers in the fight against terrorism,
the largest commitment by any nation. Let the Americans and the rest of the world match this effort.
If the Israeli administration, which consider a terrorist group, undertakes any misadventure, as it is doing in Gaza and Iran, Pakistan will retaliate in a way that will reverberate throughout the globe.
