UAE-Pakistan Ties Strengthen Through Shared Vision and Strategic Partnership
Abu Dhabi – A heartwarming tribute to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan marked the recent celebration of Pakistan’s National Day in Abu Dhabi, reflecting the enduring bonds of friendship between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.
At the event, H.E. Faisal Tirmizi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the UAE, shared a powerful anecdote from Sheikh Zayed’s historic visit to the Pakistani community. Originally scheduled for just 15 minutes, Sheikh Zayed chose to spend over three hours with the attendees — a gesture that highlighted his deep affection for the Pakistani people and his appreciation for their culture and contributions. The moment symbolized the mutual respect and admiration that has long defined UAE-Pakistan relations.
“Sheikh Zayed was a leader of humility and humanity, a people’s leader whose legacy lives on in hearts across the world,” said one attendee, expressing pride in being part of a nation whose foundation is rooted in such values.
The relationship between the UAE and Pakistan continues to flourish, anchored in shared strategic goals across sectors such as trade, energy, education, and humanitarian efforts. Both countries remain committed to advancing these ties through a shared vision and enduring respect, inspired by the humanitarian leadership of the UAE’s founding father.
