Pakistan Does Not Trust India, Dismisses Diplomatic Efforts: Naqvi

Lahore – Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has commended Pakistan’s security forces for successfully thwarting a major terrorism conspiracy originating from Afghan soil. Addressing a press briefing in Lahore, Naqvi emphasized that the security forces were making significant strides in eradicating terrorism from Pakistan.

The Minister highlighted a major achievement in North Waziristan, where 54 terrorists, referred to as Khawarij, were killed in a single operation. He stressed that these terrorists had been sent to Pakistan with the intent to carry out acts of terrorism, and a large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain militants.

Naqvi vowed that Pakistan would continue to eliminate spies and terrorists from its soil and assured that every conspiracy against the nation would be foiled. He further added that Pakistan’s security forces were actively uprooting terrorism, with continued vigilance and action against external threats.

The Interior Minister also issued a stern warning to India, stating that any acts of adventurism would be met with a “befitting reply.” He reaffirmed that Pakistan was consistently alerting the international community about India’s tactics, and the recent actions against terrorists in Pakistan sent a strong message to those involved in such activities.

Naqvi’s remarks come amid rising tensions in the region, underscoring Pakistan’s determination to defend its sovereignty and ensure the safety of its citizens.
