Strict Security Arrangements for Parliamentary Committee’s In-Camera Meeting
The military leadership is set to brief the committee on the current security situation in the country.
ISLAMABAD: The Parliamentary Committee on National Security will hold an in-camera meeting today with strict security measures in place, as confirmed by the National Assembly spokesperson.
Senior government and military leadership will attend the session, which will also include parliamentary leaders from all political parties and their designated representatives.
The military leadership is set to brief the committee on the current security situation in the country.
Law enforcement agencies have been put on high alert for the event. The meeting will be closed to the media, and no access will be granted to the Parliament building without special invitations. Only invited individuals will be allowed inside.
