Two Police Officers Martyred in Terrorist Attack in Lakki Marwat

Lakki Marwat – In a tragic incident, two police officers were martyred in a terrorist attack in the Khairu Khel area of Lakki Marwat. The officers, identified as Hikmatullah from Pizzo Police Station and Khan Bahadur from Shahbaz Khel Police Station, were on their way to perform postal duty when they were ambushed by terrorists.

According to a police spokesperson, the officers were traveling on a motorcycle when the assailants, who had been lying in wait, opened fire on them. The terrorists targeted the officers as they made their way to their respective police stations. Despite the attack, the assailants managed to escape from the scene, leaving the officers critically wounded.

The bodies of the martyred officers were later transported to the District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem. In the wake of the attack, local police have cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation to capture the perpetrators of this cowardly act.

Authorities have vowed to bring those responsible for the attack to justice, and investigations are underway to identify the terrorists behind this assault.
