ISTANBUL: Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to empowering its youth through Artificial Intelligence (AI) training at the StartCom Summit in Istanbul. Highlighting the significance of adopting technological advancements, he emphasized the government’s efforts to equip the younger generation with cutting-edge knowledge to meet modern challenges.
Tarar shed light on Pakistan’s vibrant and talented youth population, asserting that responsible AI usage could unlock immense potential for societal development. He condemned the misuse of AI in regions like occupied Kashmir, urging the global community to ensure ethical applications of the technology.
Addressing broader issues, Tarar called for an international regulatory framework for social media platforms, stressing the need for free and fair discourse on critical issues, including Gaza and Kashmir.
