Pakistan Denies Claims of Backdoor Diplomacy with India

Pak-Ind-(Foreign Corresspondent/Webdesk): Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch addressed and dismissed rumors regarding any backdoor diplomacy between Pakistan and India.

Baloch stated, “There is no truth to the reports of backdoor diplomacy between Pakistan and India.” She clarified that Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar’s recent trip to Pakistan was solely for attending the SCO Conference, during which only official discussions occurred.

Additionally, Baloch announced that, by special invitation from the government, Palestinian students affected by recent events in Gaza would be given the opportunity to continue their medical education in Pakistan. This support is intended to help Gaza’s medical students recover from the educational setbacks they’ve experienced amid the recent conflicts.

She added that Pakistan has previously hosted Palestinian students and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting their educational aspirations during these difficult times.

Baloch’s statements reflect Pakistan’s dedication to the educational needs of Palestinian students and its enduring support amid current global tensions.
