England Falls to Spin Terror as Sajid Khan Claims 7 Wickets

Multan-(Sports Reporter): Sajid Khan from Pakistan delivered a stunning performance against England on Day 3 of the second Test in Multan, dismantling their batting lineup. England’s innings concluded at 291, leaving them 75 runs short of Pakistan’s first-innings score of 366. The spin duo of Sajid Khan and Noman Ali wreaked havoc, with Sajid claiming an impressive 7 wickets for 111 runs.

England struggled to cope with the spin, losing their last four wickets for a mere 43 runs. Jack Leach, who was the final wicket to fall, managed a brisk 25 off 25 balls, but his efforts weren’t enough to avert the collapse.

Sajid Khan’s relentless bowling attack included the vital wicket of Shoaib Bashir for 9 runs. Noman Ali also made a significant contribution, taking 3 wickets as England was bowled out in just 67.2 overs. Pakistan now enjoys a critical 75-run lead as they aim to strengthen their position in the second innings.

Khan’s exceptional spin bowling had reduced England to 263/9, leaving them trailing by 103 runs, with Pakistan firmly in control of the match.

Khan celebrated his achievements with a kabaddi-style gesture, underscoring his dominance after taking 6 wickets for 99 runs in 23.4 overs. His aggressive turn and flight troubled England’s batsmen, resulting in a series of dismissals as they struggled in the spin-friendly conditions.

Jamie Smith managed to score 21 off 55 balls while attempting to boost the score but fell to Noman Ali, who also reached a personal milestone by claiming his 50th Test wicket. One of Sajid Khan’s standout moments was the dismissal of Matthew Potts, who was bowled through the legs by a sharply turning delivery, leaving England’s lower order in disarray.

With just one wicket left and England still trailing, Pakistan is well-positioned to take a commanding lead in the series.
