ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson has described the upcoming ODI series against Australia national cricket team as highly important for the national side, saying the management is working to build a balanced squad ahead of the next ICC World Cup.
Speaking to reporters at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Hesson said Pakistan’s white-ball team has shown improvement in several areas in recent months. He added that facing a competitive side like Australia would provide players with valuable international exposure and help refine their skills further.
The Pakistan coach explained that the management’s focus is on creating a strong combination of experienced and emerging players capable of delivering consistent performances in major international tournaments.

The three-match ODI series between Pakistan national cricket team and Australia national cricket team will begin on May 30. The opening match will take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, while the remaining two fixtures will be played in Lahore.
