Thrilling Contest: Zone II Edges Out Zone V by Five Runs

Karachi-(Sports Reporter)-The PCB Senior Inter-District Cricket Tournament in Karachi Region has seen three more matches decided. Regional Cricket Association Zone VI dominated Regional Cricket Association Zone One, securing a 371-run victory. Zone II edged out Zone V by five runs in a thrilling contest, while Zone IV and Zone VII ended in a tie.

Match 1: Zone VI vs Zone One
Zone VI was bowled out for 219 runs, with Akbar ur Rahman scoring 66 and Abdul Rahman adding 49. In response, Zone One managed 98 runs, with Taha Mehmood scoring 30. Zone VI declared their second innings at 386/9, thanks to Arbaz Khan’s 115 and Adeel Meeo’s 83. Zone One was then bowled out for 136.

Match 2: Zone II vs Zone V
Zone II scored 154 in the first innings, with Wahaj Riaz contributing 66. Zone V replied with 153, led by Jawad Mehmood’s 40. Zone II declared their second innings at 279/9, with Wahaj Riaz scoring 54. Zone V fell short, scoring 275.

Match 3: Zone IV vs Zone VII
Zone VII scored 186, with Waqar Ahmed top-scoring at 66. Zone IV managed 135 in response, led by Ahad Ali’s 34. Zone VII scored 112 in the second innings, while Zone IV was bowled out for 163.
