Multan qualified for the final of the Shahid Afridi Foundation National Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship Grade One by defeating Quetta by a huge margin of 92 runs, while Karachi defeated Hyderabad.
SAF National Physical Disability T20 Cricket: Multan reached final. Shahid Afridi Foundation and Pakistan Physical Disability In collaboration with Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association, the first match of the third day of the ongoing championship was played between the teams of Multan and Quetta at the Rashid Latif Academy Cricket Ground, Multan won by a huge margin of 92 runs and made it to the final of Grade One. Playing first, Multan scored 189 runs for the loss of five wickets. Majid Hussain scored 43 with three fours and one six, Jahanzeb Towana scored 38, Ghulam Mohammad scored 37 with six fours and two sixes, and Zubair Saleem scored 37 with four fours and two sixes .Mithal Khan, Als-Yar, Nizamuddin, Ali Gajizai and Waseem Rahman got one wicket each.In reply Quetta all our 97 runs.Nizamuddin score 32 and Ayaz ahmed scored 20 runs. Asif took three, Zubair Saleem and Mohammad Irfan two while Mohammad Haris, Jahanzeb Towana and Umiz Rahman took one wicket each. Senior journalist Shahid Ali Khan was the Chief Guest of this match ,he gave Player of the Match award to Zubair Saleem, On this occasion, Region Head of Multan Bahawalpur Kamran Jameel, Head of Baluchistan Aslam Birch and Shakeel Sajjad were also present. In the second match, Karachi defeated Hyderabad by eight wickets after an interesting match. Hyderabad played first and scored 135 runs.Muhammad Waris scored 40 with the help of four fours and one six, Muhammad Jabbar scored 37 runs and Nauman scored 23 runs. Malik Sher took three wickets while Abu Bakr and Umar Farooq took one wicket each. In response, Karachi scored 136 in 14.3 overs for losing two wickets and they won the match by eight wickets. Khurshid Ali scored 54 with eight fours, Waheed Khan scored an unbeaten 37 and Umar Farooq scored 24 runs. Osama got two wickets. The player of the match was declared Malik Sher, who was given the player of the match award by former first-class cricketer Sarwat Ali. On this occasion, tournament director and secretary general Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association Amiruddin Ansari, former first-class cricketer Zia Shamim, Shakeel Sajjad, Media Manager Muhammad Nizam and others were also present.
